What a wonderful photo of the “day of” wedding helper lady. While she had this beautiful photo taken, the groomsmen and family members were scouring ft pierce for ice, wine glasses, and trying to stay on top of wedding transportation. Beautiful photo. Notice there are no photos of the wedding party at the venue, no time, too busy setting up the wedding.

I understand there may have been issues on the day. However, Pauline was not the one responsible for those items. The caterers job was to provide all those, and I’m sure Pauline took them at their word that those issues were “handled”. Same for the porta john problem…and the transportation thing. Just as was the case with our service. Had we botched the job, it would not be her responsibility, it would have been ours.
I’ve worked many events with Paulene, and she does a fabulous job. But again, HER job was not to provide food, glasses, bathroom services nor transportation services. She was the day of wedding coordinator. It’s always easy to assign blame and want to find a scapegoat when things go awry, but you need to point those remarks at the actual parties responsible for their respective issues.
