Marriott Harbor Beach Wedding in Fort Lauderdale

Had the opportunity to get back to a great resort in Fort Lauderdale called the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. Really a beautiful venue. Our couple was from Chicago so this was a destination wedding Florida style. Crazy weather of late however forced the actual ceremony in off the beach sadly as the staff didnt want to have to dry off the chairs one more time. In fact the decision in/out went back and forth a few times, and the weather had cleared up and was fantastic on the beach, and we were still out there unaware the “final” decision had been made….(cant really go in/out of the air conditioning as it takes 15 minutes or so for the lenses to un fog) and the wedding coordinator was actually starting the ceremony with us not there !!!!! Luckily, we sneaked back in to check, just as the processional was beginning and didn’t miss anything. After their ballroom wedding, we of course took them right back outside, where we were able to get some amazing beach wedding portraits right where the ceremony was to have taken place. Our couple was super fun and flexible and we had a great time making some magic on the beach. With cruise ships leaving the port behind us, and the sun setting, it was a fantastic setting. Once we got em back inside, DJ Serge really served up an incredible party atmosphere and the group partied like rockstars!! Check out some of our favorite pix below!!
