2017 has quickly become the year of the rainy day events.\u00a0 In my 25+ years of doing this, never have I had anywhere near this many events affected by inclement weather.\u00a0 With life feeding us lemons, however, we’ve gotten pretty adept at making some really tasty lemonade!\u00a0 Plus look at all that good luck heading to the marriages of all of our couples this year!!\u00a0 Should be loads of luck on the way!<\/p>\n

With a last second decision to still try the wedding outside on the lawn, everyone dashed out in the light rain and they pulled off a quickie version of the ceremony under the old oak tree.\u00a0 Lots of character and I’m sure participants will be talking about this wedding for years to come amongst the family members and friends who participated.\u00a0 Once we got em back inside, the staff at Eastpoint did a great job with the improvisation getting the tables reset while we did the formals improptu style with the huge panoramic windows overlooking the green.\u00a0 We even scampered back out into the rain for a super quick set of romantics out on the bridge in the pouring rain, which actually resulted in some way cool images…and some way wet photographers hahahaha.<\/p>\n

Once the food was done DJ Sean from Complete Media group emceed the party and kept everything rocking all night.\u00a0 Cakes by Michelle, brought a really cool combo of Disney themed cake(s) and cupcakes for everyone to enjoy, and the couple to smash.\u00a0 Loads of fun time ensued throughout the reception and everyone had a great time.\u00a0 Check out a few of our faves below!
